Since 1982, we have been developing and manufacturing self-adhesive and double-sided adhesive solutions for a wide range of industries.

Our story begins in 1968 when Montedison Engineer Sergio Serdi founded MCM, a company specializing in the maintenance of production lines for packaging tapes.

The step from maintenance to creating custom self-adhesive and double-sided adhesive products was a short one.

Before SECAD, companies across various industries had to SETTLE for what was available.

➡️ With 30 years of know-how and a cutting-edge in-house R&D lab that develops and tests innovative adhesive solutions for superior performance.
➡️ Using acrylic, silicone, and rubber resins (both hot-melt and solvent-based).
➡️ Operating on three coating plants: solvent-based M1, UV hot-melt M2, and SSA technology M3. (Yes, we like to get creative with names.)
➡️ With the support of a UV pilot plant for sampling and testing.
➡️ Following LEAN and Kaizen management methods, promoting continuous self-improvement across all employees.

➡️ We don’t produce commodities, except for our famous SILICONE TAPE.
