**MISSION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT**
Manifattura Berluti is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager with experience gained in manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Production & Continuous Improvement Director, the Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for managing all master data for catalog items (new line launches and permanent items, bills of materials and cycles), the timing of all catalog and Made to Order (MTO) items, and contributing to the definition of methods through lean techniques to set up projects aimed at identifying company savings.
**Job Responsibilities**- Production Process Area:
- Analysis and definition of production times for all products: Shoes, Leather Goods, Small Leather Goods, Belts, determining the best method: time study or MTM.
- Definition of Production Methods.
- Definition and entry of production cycles for all production processes (internal and external).
- Definition of all operational production standards (internal and external): patina recipes, assembly technical sheets, etc.
- Master Data/Bill of Materials/Industrial Costs Area:
- Coding and creation of master data for all finished products, semi-finished products, and raw materials.
- Analysis and definition of consumption for all products: Shoes, Leather Goods, Small Leather Goods, Belts.
- Creation and updating of supplier
- Info Records.
- Interaction with Development and Management Control for the creation and updating of product cost sheets.
- Innovation and Improvement Projects Area:
- Definition and control of department layouts and related production flows.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives for production and logistics processes.
- Active participation in the drafting of the investment budget for equipment and machinery.
- Coordination of innovation and improvement projects within the plant.
- Lean Training organization for employees.
- Ergonomics projects in the workplace through known tools/methodologies: Ergo MTM, EAWS, Ocra.
- Contributing to the reduction of data entry with AI projects using Power BI and Power Automate knowledge.
**Profile**
Degree in Engineering or scientific disciplines, Master in Lean Six Sigma as a plus. At least 5 years of experience as head of a production engineering department (5-10 process engineers) in structured companies, preferably in the Luxury or automotive sector. Plus: experience in other sectors. Technical and managerial knowledge: Consolidated knowledge of Lean Production principles and techniques (Just in Time, Pull System, Takt Time Analysis, Total Productive Maintenance, Poka Yoke, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kanban, SMED, etc.) and TPS, proven by many years of experience as a leader of Continuous Improvement projects in production and logistics departments. Knowledge of operational tools such as standard motion sheets, Yamazumi chart, work combination tables, Asaichi. Knowledge of labor calculation methods, production line balancing, department productivity calculation. In-depth knowledge of work time definition methodologies (time study and MTM) and workplace ergonomics (Ergo MTM, EAWS, Ocra). Knowledge of Total Quality principles and related methodologies (QA Matrix, FMEA). Good knowledge of SAP, specifically for Master Data, Bills of Materials, Production Cycles, and Info Records. Plus: experience in training on Lean concepts and Idea Management. Personal and interpersonal skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various company functions and suppliers. Excellent ability to work in a team and lead working groups oriented towards the cultural change necessary for the implementation of Lean methodologies. Ability to work independently and in a team. Precision, attention to detail, and integrity. Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint.
