**Role Description**

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist, based in the Greater Milan Metropolitan Area with some flexibility for remote work. The Specialist will develop, implement, and monitor environmental health and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. Day-to-day tasks include identifying workplace hazards, conducting risk assessments, implementing safety training programs, and promoting a culture of health and safety across the organization. Collaboration with various teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols is a key aspect of the role.

**Qualifications**

- Proficiency in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management, Health & Safety protocols, and Occupational Health practices
- Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and the ability to implement and maintain safety standards
- Experience in Safety Training programs and employee engagement initiatives around health and safety
- Familiarity with local and international EHS regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant professional certifications, such as OSHA certification or NEBOSH, are advantageous
