**About the job**

KorumLegal is looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our panel of legal professionals for a 5-month full-time contract assignment. In this role, the Legal Consultant will support a leading global technology and professional services organization, advising on a broad range of Italian employment law matters.

This assignment is expected to commence as soon as possible and candidates who are available to start within a short notice period will be strongly preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**

You will provide day-to-day legal advice on Italian employment law matters, including hiring, compensation and benefits, performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, terminations and reorganisations.

The role involves advising on staff leasing and contingent workforce arrangements, ensuring compliance with Italian employment regulations and supporting teams on complex employee matters, grievances and sensitive workplace issues. You will draft, review and negotiate employment-related documentation, manage employment disputes and litigation matters and provide advice on collective labor law and industrial relations matters.

Working closely with various stakeholders, you will deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice while helping to drive effective workforce management and risk mitigation strategies.

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer in Italy with 5-8 years of PQE, gained within a top-tier law firm and/or a multinational corporate environment. Candidates should possess solid expertise in Italian employment law, including experience supporting M&A, outsourcing, workforce transformation and restructuring projects. Strong knowledge of Italian labor law and experience managing employment disputes is highly desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, and fluency in both Italian and English is required.
