**About the job**

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Mandarin Garden Department in Milan, the Runner is responsible to delight and satisfy our guests. We are dedicated to making a difference every day and continually improve to ensure we are the best. The Runner reports to the Director of Mandarin Garden.

**As** **Runner, you will responsible for the following duties:**

- Is responsible for transporting dishes from the kitchen to the tables ensuring speed and accuracy of service.
- Must also ensure constant communication with the kitchen and colleagues in the dining room to ensure smooth and seamless service.
- He or she must also ensure that everything is in order before service begins, from the cutlery on the table to the cleanliness of the Mandarin Garden areas.
- An outgoing and passionate resource is required, enthusiastic about interfacing with the guest and willing to offer impeccable and sincere service with a smile and the right spirit of hospitality**.**
