**Role Description**
This full-time, on-site Sales Engineer / Sales Manager role is based in Bologna. The position involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and promoting the company’s range of powertrain components. Day-to-day activities include preparing technical and commercial offers, presenting product solutions to customers, providing technical support during pre- and post-sales phases, and coordinating with engineering and production teams to address customer requirements. The role also includes monitoring market trends, supporting pricing and negotiation processes, and maintaining accurate sales forecasts and reports.
**Qualifications**
- Strong skills in Sales Engineering and Technical Support to understand customer needs and propose suitable mechanical component solutions.
- Demonstrated ability in Sales and Customer Service to manage accounts, drive new opportunities, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Effective Communication skills for presenting technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders and collaborating with internal teams.
- Background in mechanical engineering or a related technical field; previous experience in powertrain or industrial components is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bologna, travel to customer locations as needed, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with standard office and CRM tools; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable working in an international business environment; additional language skills are a plus.
