Position Summary
The Presales Consultant will act as a
**trusted advisor**
to fashion customers. The Presales Consultant is a key contributor in selling Lectra’s SaaS solutions to our prospects and customers. He/She analyzes and understands the clients’ stakes, needs and environment, supporting the sales team, in order to meet their business and technical needs and goals. He/she will work very closely with the Sales team to promote and demonstrate the value of our SaaS solutions, with a primary focus on our next generation solution, a cloud-based digital product development platform. The Presales Consultant builds compelling proposals aligned with customer strategic objectives, alongside members of the sales team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Sales team in qualifying, in depth, opportunities and defining proposals to meet customer needs
- Work closely with customers to understand and capture their requirements and identify their main expected outcomes
- Facilitate customer understanding of our value proposition through outstanding presentations tailored to customer’s ecosystem
- Ensure the handover of the project to Customer Success teams
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Fashion Design & Development or a related field will be required
- 2 years or above working experience sales, presales, consultancy, or industrial experience, preferably in a similar market as Lectra's offer
- Strong interest for sales and customer-facing roles
- Solid industry expertise and knowledge in digital transformation
- Strong value approach and ability to translate features into benefits that resonate with current customers' challenges
- Ability to create a desire for Lectra's solutions and engage the customer emotionally by creating a preference to buy and a feeling of fondness about the product or service
- Ability to share passion for new technologies and demonstrate their benefits
- Capability to assess business processes and identify how our products will improve them
- Capability to lead high-quality project delivery
- Capability to identify financial impacts of inefficiencies and build business cases with different scenarios
- Strong team player and ability to hand over complex projects to teams
- Fluency in Italian and English
TRAVEL
The position is remote in Italy, Milan area
There will be travel 50% travel to Lectra offices in Bordeaux, France.
